Carpet Museum of Iran gets national heritage status

TEHRAN – The Carpet Museum of Iran has recently been inscribed on the National Heritage List, IRNA reported on Saturday.

Covering an area of 3,400 square meters, the museum boasts a treasure trove of rare and centuries-old carpets, kilims and tableau rugs.

The Carpet Museum of Iran can be found at the northwest of Laleh Park in the heart of Tehran.
